Saturday morning, I helped myself to these steamed chinese muffins that my aunt made. Fluffy, but not too sweet, I could eat these for breakfast and dessert. Such a yummy snack! :)

Niles West High School in Skokie was the place to be on January 23rd. It was packed with individuals celebrating the 60th anniversary of India's Republic Day. An assortment of spicy delicacies were served from 5pm in the cafeteria and VIP room.

Indian Republic Day Celebration

A group of young women perform a traditional Indian dance in celebration of India's Republic Day on January 23rd at Niles West High School. The event not only featured dancing, but singing and food, which was served from 5pm to 7pm. The performances and giving of awards started at 7pm and continued through 11pm.
