There's cash and medical care for those taking care of another person at home.

 

The State of Illinois is looking out for those who cannot be employed due to age, a serious disability or have to act as primary caregiver in the home for someone who is unable to care care of himself.

 

The program is called General Assistance/Transitional Assistance.
