The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Skokie/Lincolnwood/Morton Grove/Niles will start on June 11th at 6pm at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton Street, Skokie; and will end on June 12th at 6am. 

 

This is a chance to celebrate the lives of those who have cancer and remember those who have lost their lives to this disease.  Teams of local businesses, schools, churches, community groups and families help raise money to support services for area patients and their families, cancer research, community educational programs and advocacy initiatives.

 

The Luminaria Ceremony, held just after dark is in memory for those who have lost their battle against cancer and to honor survivors and caregivers.
