Over the Rainbow Association is an Illinois not-for-profit association dedicated to providing independent living solutions and employment opportunites for individuals with physical disabilities. It was formed in 1974 by a group of Chicago area parents of children with physical disabilities. Assists disabled and their parents in finding accessible, barrier-free housing and job opportunities for the physically disabled.

The Douglas Center's day program was started in March 1999. The day program offers a wide variety of services to our clients which includes a sheltered workshop, janitorial skills training program, and developmental training program for clients with severe/profound developmentally disabilities.
