55 and Fun is a social club for adults who are young at heart, and 55 and older. Membership includes a subscription to Senior Scene, free seminars, some free programs, trip and program discounts, and a t-shirt. The fees are minimal.
Children ages 6 to 15 are invited to design fabric for "Bears of Hope" this Saturday, November 7th, at the First American Bank, 4611 Golf Road.
Using paint markers, children will design fabric which will then be sewn, stuffed and distributed by Skokie firefighters to children suffering trauma.
