The Skokie Valley Chapter of Lyric Opera of Chicago was founded to stimulate community interest and financial support . It does so through community educational programs, including pre-opening night lectures on each of the operas of the Lyric Opera season.

 

Special social and fund-raising events are also held. Members enjoy numerous benefits offered through Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Have Santa show up at your door during the Christmas season. Take pictures with Santa in your own home. Surprise the kids by letting them touch Santa's real beard.

 

Santa is also available, before or after Christmas, for office, factory, and family seasonal parties.

Chicago Licorice Sticks Clarinet Orchestra presents a Halloween concert sure to have you on the edge of your seat with such selections as Dance Macabre, Night on Bald Mountain, Theme from Batman, Fingal's Cave, Licorice Licks, and other surprises. This group takes an entertaining approach to music of all types: jazz, classical, Dixieland, show tunes, and pop. They do it all!
