Pioneer Press & Doings Newspapers Win 25 Awards In Illinois Press Competition

Kudos to the staff of the Pioneer Press for and the Doings Newspapers for winning 25 awards at the Illinois Press Association's News-Editorial Convention in Peoria.

 

Pioneer's prizes included top honors for Web reporting, photography and general excellence.

 

Skokie Review staff won second place in news for “House of Blame,” written by Nick Katz, Mike Isaacs, Kathy Routliffe, Andrew Schneider. The series reported on the local impact of the housing crisis.
