Oakton CTA Station to Open Monday April 30

The new Oakton-Skokie Yellow Line station at Oakton will be open for service on Monday April, 30. This station will be accessible to customers with disabilities and include these customer convenient features:

Accessible entrances at Oakton Street and Searle Parkway.

Transit Card vending machines available at Oakton Street and Searle Parkway station houses.

Island platform that will accommodate bidirectional boarding.

Bright lighting

New signage, including neighborhood maps, Braille, and digital signs

Sheltered bicycle racks at Oakton Street and Searle Parkway entrances

Kiss & Ride drop off area located near the Searle Parkway entrance

Convenient access to downtown Skokie
