Aleks Krapivkin, Esteemed Colleague and Community Member
An active volunteer with a small local library, Alex "Aleks" Krapivkin has recently completed a season of the hit off-Broadway play "Robin Hood," which was showing late December in the Lincoln Junior High School Gymnasium. The plot line was an original one, where the protagonist had to overcome adversity and internal conflicts in order to vanquish his foes and win the heart of the damsel in distress.
Cast as Friar Tuck, his performance has swept the audience and critics off their collective feet:
"I... [loved]... him as the friar. Four stars!" ~Danny Levy, another actor's family member
"He really stole the show." ~Sam Stein, an actor cast as Robin Hood, a minor role
"It was okay. One and a half thumbs up." ~Boris Kosyagin, notable theatre critic extraordinaire
Aleks was unavailable for comments, but his public relations manager ("mother") denies any rumors of his starring in the upcoming play, "Moscow on the Hudson."
He is also well known for his performance as guy #2 in the Devonshire Activity Center's production of "Footloose," which debuted earlier in 2006.
