Skokie Library Needs Your Gently Read Paperbacks!

Skokie Public Library wants to keep you reading!

 

To do so, we need your gently used paperback books! Any genre or popular title is welcome. Donated books will be sold in our used book sale, with all proceeds going to support library services, or will become part of our new outreach initiative, a read and pass it on deposit collection available to folks outside the library.

 

Please bring your gently used donations to the West Circulation Desk.

 

Let the clerk on duty know or leave your name and phone number with the books if you need a letter for tax purposes.

We have year round book sale now

For several years, Skokie Library has maintained a book sale room on the premises. Books that are withdrawn from the collection along with donated books that cannot be used in our collection are available for you to purchase anytime you come to the Library.

 

You'll find bargains galore anytime we're open! For your convenience, we have a great new coffee machine in the same location.

 

Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm; Saturday from 9am to 6pm; Sunday from noon to 6pm.
