CTA Skokie Swift Yellow Line Special Service Schedule

CTA-Skokie Swift will offer extended service to accommodate the Taste of Chicago's suburban audience.

2009 Taste of Chicago Service

Weekdays (except Friday, July 3)

Trains will operate every 10-15 minutes until midnight from the Howard Street station.

Friday, July 3 (Fireworks Night)

Trains will operate every 10-15 minutes until 2 A.M. from the Howard Street station.

Weekend Service including Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5

Trains will operate every 10-15 minutes until midnight from the Howard Street station.

Resuming Monday, July 6-Regular Weekday Service

Regular weekday service runs from 5 A.M. to 10:45 P.M. at 10 minute intervals.

Parking fees are required during all hours of operation at the two Skokie Swift lots. For $2.00, patrons may park in the Village's North Lot, located just north of Dempster Street and accessible from Gross Point Road. The South Lot parking costs $4.00 and is accessible from Niles Center Road or Dempster Street.

Skokie Swift patrons also have the option of purchasing a monthly parking permit for the north lot. The permit fee is $40.00 per month and is available for purchase at Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie. Hours are 8:30 am to 5pm. Monday through Friday.
