Skokie Water Rates Projected To Increase An Average of $3.03 Per Month

Based on recent budget hearings, there will be an adjustment for the water rate in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  An average quarterly water bill of $93.42 (or $31.14 per month) will increase to $102.52 (or $34.17 per month) which equates to an increase of $3.03 per month. Despite this adjustment, Skokie has the second lowest water rate among fifteen comparable area communites and serves 16,000 customers.
