Meet and Greet Local Pols at the Skokie Caucus Party Annual Picnic Sunday, Sept. 14 at Oakton Park

The Skokie Caucus Party Annual Picnic will be held Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at the Oakton Park, 4701 Oakton St., Skokie, at the southeast corner of the park.

The fun and games starts at noon and lasts until 4:00pm.

Admission is FREE.

Attendees will be served hot dogs, burgers, fruits & other treats, and drinks; other snacks will be available for those with special dietary needs.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Marlon Longid of the SoulFix.

This is an opportunity to meet with local and state officials seeking re-election, as well as candidates running for public office for the first time. Elected Skokie Village officials will also be there.
