Concert: Lunae Duo--East Meets West

Description: Music for flute and piano, together and separately, is featured in this concert of music both by Japanese composers and by others, such as Debussy, who explored oriental themes in western music. The Lunae Duo consists of flutist Stephanie Pendretti and pianist Sarah LaFleur, both professional musicians and faculty of the DePaul University Community Music School. Stephanie recently returned from receiving a graduate diploma in Suzuki pedagogy from the Talent Education Institute in Matsumoto, Japan. Location: Petty Auditorium, Skokie Public Library
