Go Green Boys And Girls!

I think that if everyone in Skokie switches to these kind of light bulbs then maybe... just maybe we will cut down the amount of energy that we use. This is why I made this little "movie". It's to remind everyone that there is still a chance in a very funny way. ;)

A thought.

Yes, it's a great idea and many have already put these fluorescent light bulbs into use; however, they claim to last for eight years, but some have repeatedly gone through many and have to replace the bulb every two years. Also, one issue is that when a florescent light bulb runs out. How do you go about disposing of it without harming the environment? Because of the mercury within the fluorescent bulbs, it makes it a bit difficult to get rid of them, even if there is only a small amount. In our society today, we have the technology and all the resources at the ready to make light bulbs that never run out, but it's our choice whether to put it into use or not. Sadly, because the government is making so much money from light bulbs of all kinds, why do it? It has no use to the economy and people would lose jobs. Please educate me a bit, because as I see it, we could do so much better.
