Skokie Boulevard and Gross Point Road Improvements Beginning

Two road improvement projects will be underway shortly. Reconstruction of Skokie Boulevard at Golf Road and Old Orchard Road will involve the addition of left turn lanes, extension of left turn lanes and exclusive left and right turn lanes on Foster Street. The second project is not expected to begin until 2011 and will improve Gross Point Road between Golf and Old Orchard Road. Most of the funding will be provided on a state and federal level.
